Argyle socks

Socks made of awesome that John Green can be seen wearing on the back of the book Paper Towns. (the ones he is wearing are mismatching which by the way is a totally nerdfightery thing to do!) Argyle socks are socks with a strange diamond pattern woven into them. The predominate theory suggests that argyle socks were created when standard socks became too easy to match properly.
