Charlie is in the DFTBA Records band Sons of Admirals along with Alex Day, Edd Plant, and Tom Milsom. He is also part of the TRock (Time Lord Rock) band Chameleon Circuit, also with Alex Day, Edd Plant, Liam Dryden and Michael Aranda.

Charlie is roommates with Alex Day.

As of May 2011, the band Sons of Admirals broke up. This was previously eluded to in Charlie's video "Hello".
