Christmas

Christmas a very controversial holiday celebrated throughout most of the "Christian" world. Originally a celebratory counter to pagan Winter Festivals, Christmas ostensibly celebrates the day that the founder of Christianity, Jesus Christ, was born. He was more likely born during the spring when shepherds generally let their flocks out to graze at night, but whatever. In recent years, possibly due to the creation of the mall, debit, and plastic, Christmas has ceased to be a religious celebration and become more of a celebration of buying stuff (generally overpriced) and giving it to other people (generally unhappy with the contribution).

There are good things to be said about Christmas, though during many years the bad outweighs the good in the minds of most people.

(Another Nerdfighter needs to add the good parts of Christmas. This Nerdfighter doesn't like it.)
