History

DFTBA comes from John's October 2^nd Brotherhood 2.0 vlog. While driving back to Indianappolis, John discusses a nerdfighter outlet mall with a Put stuff on your head, a peeps outlet, and a pineapple nerdfighting pants outlet. At the end of the vlog in a P.P.P.S., John reminds Hank to, like it says on his friend Katie's arm, DFTBA.

Notes

DFTBA is best compared to the phrase: "Don't forget to be awesome." A nerdfighter is inherently awesome, and needs not to remember to be so. Most nerdfighters are born awesome or have become so through a series of events that turn them into nerds.

Buying a Yo-Yo and becoming the Yo-Yo Champion
Anagramming as a hobby
Wearing Darth Vader pajamas...your whole life.
Memorizing all of the lines to movies/TV shows such as Star Wars, any Harry Potter movie, Star Trek, ect.
Having a great number of nerdy obsession.
Reading completely awesome books!(Not just one but several...all the time...and with speed and understanding).
Taking "nerd" as a compliment all the time.
Rather read than go on a social media site.
Using correct grammar.
