Merilee Simmons

Merilee Simmons (1991-) is a Sophomore at Winter Park High School. Merilee is an avid member of the Winter Park Poetry Club, contributing many literary gems to the Club Newsletter. More recently, Simmons has also been proven to be a talented lyricist, and has been seen discussing Bob Dylan songs with Scott Clarence. Notable physical characteristics are the gap between her two front teeth, her freckles, and her shaggy black hair. She has a large, fat tabby cat called Peacock, and enjoys episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Being a Buffy fan herself, it is speculated that she became friends with Allison Maddon because she shares the same first name, though it is spelled differently, as the actress who played Willow on the show.

She also claims to be clairvoyant and has been helpful in the recent investigation of the disappearance of Margo Roth Spiegelman.

Sexuality

Merilee Simmons came out as a lesbian in 2005, at the age of fourteen. She is not currently dating anyone at Winter Park High, although she has been spending a lot of her time with Allison Maddon. Her parents, Flora and Roland Simmons, have so far been incredibly supportive.
