Paper Town
A Paper Town is a fictional place that cartographers put on their maps so they can tell when someone breaches copyright and copies their map. They can tell, because it will also contain the fictional place.
Paper Towns (novel)
Paper Towns is also a novel by John Green. Published October 16, 2008 by Dutton Juvenile, Paper Towns hit number five on the New York Times Best Seller list. The movie rights to Paper Towns have been optioned by Mandate Pictures and John Malkovich. The author has created a force of excitement and intrigue in the Nerdfighter community by extending the characters of Paper Towns beyond the original book and into the realms of The Ning, Facebook, Myspace, and Omnicitionary, a site for creating a Wiki-Novel. It tells the story of Quentin Jacobsen and his love for his adventurous neighbour Margo Roth Spiegelman. Although the two grew apart over the years, they briefly rekindle in a night of adventure but Margo disappears shortly after. Most of the book follows Quentin as he finds and searches for elaborate clues regarding her whereabouts. All in all, Paper Towns is a very moving book full of heart-touching topics and a clear cut look at how Quentin Jacobsen sees life.
Great great things are at work here, so be on the lookout.
