They also have a long-standing epic battle with the population of ninjas. Several truces and negotiations have been attempted, but resistance seems to be futile.
Pirates are typically active in the Caribbean and the British Isles. However, recently they have been most active in Somalia.
Pirates have an awesome habit of drinking rum. Everywhere.
It is a known fact that the lack of pirates has increased global warming. Just compare the global temperature to the number of pirates.
It is a widely known fact that pirates pwn ninjas.

It is an even, even more widely known that vikings have great banquets, to celebrate victory so at this time, they would be so drunk and engourged, that pirates and ninjas can make their move and pwn them at this time.
Pirates in Popular Culture
