Radar (a nickname given to him because of his prepubescent resemblance to the character Radar from the show M*A*S*H; his given name is Marcus Lincoln)

Description

He is a good friend of Quentin Jacobsen ("Q") and their mutual friend Ben (Ben Starling), as well as dating a girl called Angela (proclaimed by Ben to be "awesome") since the ending of March of his senior year at Winter Park High School, and who he took to Prom.

His parents own the largest collection of Black Santas in the world, with the total adding up to over 1,200 different Black Santa figures . Radar is significantly embarrassed by his parents' obsession with their collection and so postpones taking Angela to meet his parents, and see his home, until after they had been dating for five weeks. When his parents' main rival Black Santa collector died, they left town to try and buy his collection. (This could possibly have brought their total number of Black Santas to over 2,400, depending on how many they acquired). In their absence, Radar hosted a party for his friends.

Radar's primary hobby is editing an online free information source called Omnictionary (his IM username is even OMNICTIONARIAN96), where he spends a significant amount of time both writing information and editing other entries to reduce misinformation and spam. Radar describes his preoccupation with Omnictionary as an intrinsic part of his identity, much as Quentin's preoccupation with the enigmatic and legendary Margo Roth Spiegelman is a part of his.
