What started out as a desperate love story for a girl named Maud by a young man named William S. Wright turned into a deep desire for french words that mean hot. Unfortunately, the idea was not accepted and the book had to be left unfinished. However, some hardworking fans have tried to keep on the legacy. They have found the drafts and have been trying to complete the story, but so far, they are not making progress.

The first pressing of The Passion I Have for Chaud (F1) was discovered in the basement of the Museum of Natural History in New York.
